Tutor Replacement Request Form

It is an expectation for tutors to remain consistent in their allocated class time. If in any medical/family circumstance you cannot take your given class, proceed with the following steps.

Tutors must provide a minimum 48h notice to inform of your absence otherwise you are expected to still take the class.

Please note that your number of replacement classes requested will be tracked and logged, which will impact your opportunity for increased compensation adjustments based on longevity and performance.

Compensation Adjustment for Longevity and Performance:

Effective upon the completion of four (4) school terms (one year) of service with NL English Academy, the Tutor shall be eligible for an increase in their hourly pay rates for group classes, subject to the following conditions:

- The Tutor must have required a replacement tutor or substitute no more than four (4) times during the first four (4) school terms of employment.

- The Tutor must have demonstrated high levels of parent satisfaction, as determined by company evaluations and feedback.

- The Tutor must have shown strong student retention rates, as assessed by the company.
